An Ode To The Broken

Recently, life took a turn. What was once forever, was no more. As his decision was made, with nothing but love and respect in my heart, I made some decisions of my own. Gathering just my portion of the life we’d built together, I moved back interstate.

I loved him enough to let go, knowing he had. Here’s to the broken hearted, here’s to the lovers, here’s to letting it all go, in order to welcome something new.

  1. If this post were a person I’d hug it like a little teddy bear ❤

It was so short yet pulled so incredibly much at my heartstrings <\3

I love your blog and your style of writing, please don't ever stop sharing your thoughts and experiences! Your writing feels like a friend I've never met but am beginning to want to get to know better, if that makes any sense? 🙈 sorry this comment is going on for so long, I just had so many things I wanted you to know and this post really hit a nerve!

Look forward to reading your next post ~

  2. Couldnt imagine doing what you have done. Love’s a bitch! But it also heals. Not from what you have lost, but from what you have learnt. Take this is a way of growing, don’t stop. It’s the best part of struggling, of life! Sending you lots of love (you already have lots) ❤️

  3. It’s nice to know in a sad, bitter-sweet way your not the only one who felt like their forever had moved on without them. I have spent the last 4 months leaving behind something as big and consuming as your love sounded to be, and so can I say your very courageous for walking away. And even more courageous for knowing your walking away from what was once something and is now nothing.

    1. Thank Holly, what a wonderful message. I think you’re very courageous too, it takes a lot of willpower, self love and love for another to move forward. Power to you and all the others out there who are leaving what once was to the past xx
