When I Got Out

I wasn’t handling life too well. M had been given free tickets that had to be used up so she asked me along. That morning before leaving home, I wanted to cancel on her several times. It was free for God’s sake. Eventually, I got myself there. And of course, even in all its greys, Melbourne was absolutely stunning. I was so glad to be there.

Sometimes, you just need to will yourself to get the fuck out.
